About Tibisay
As a mom in a Venezuelan-American family, I cherish the diversity of our cultures and enjoy experiencing the best of both worlds every day. I have four bilingual children whom I’ve taught the Spanish language and the vibrant South American culture. With my Spanish heritage, I can teach you either Latin American Spanish or Castilian from Spain.
My passion for travel and cultural exploration has fueled my love for sharing not just language skills, but also the rich cultural experiences that come with them.

¡Hola! I’m a native Spanish speaker from Venezuela, now living in the U.S. for over a decade. With a background in finance and a passion for teaching, I’m excited to share my language and cultural knowledge with you!

After successfully tutoring my own kids through their AP Spanish class, I realized my true calling is to help others on their language journey.
I believe that learning a language is always easier when you’re immersed in it. That’s why my teaching style is different from other tutors. I incorporate everyday situations, engaging games, and movie discussions into our lessons. You’ll find that grammar comes more naturally when you learn it through listening and practicing, just like we do with our native language as kids.
