Trinity ATCL Qualified Flute Teacher with 7 Years of Experience Offering Beginner to Intermediate Lessons in Melbourne and Online Across Australia in English, Cantonese or Mandarin

Sophia is really patient and easy to learn with. She explains Cantonese pronunciation clearly and makes the lessons feel relaxed and comfortable, especially for beginners. I like how she uses everyday examples that are useful when travelling to Hong Kong, instead of making things too complicated. Would definitely recommend her!

I worked with Sophia when I first started as a new graduate OT, and I really appreciated the guidance I received during that time.

Starting out as an OT can be quite overwhelming, but our supervision sessions gave me opportunities to ask questions, discuss challenging cases and better understand how to approach different clinical situations.

I particularly found the discussions around clinical reasoning, assessments and report writing helpful, as these were things I was still learning to navigate in practice.

I learned a lot from her experience and would definitely recommend Sophia to OT students or new graduates looking for some practical guidance.

Sophia is my daughter’s flute teacher, and I have been very satisfied with the experience.

As a parent, one thing I particularly appreciate is how well Sophia communicates with me about my daughter’s lessons. After every session, she takes the time to send me a summary of what they have covered, the areas my daughter needs to practise and what she should focus on before the next lesson.

These regular updates have been especially helpful because they allow me to understand what my daughter is learning and how I can support her practice at home, even though I am not present during the lessons.

I really appreciate the effort Sophia puts into keeping parents involved in their children’s musical education. She is reliable, organised and genuinely attentive to her students’ learning needs.

I would happily recommend Sophia to other parents looking for a flute teacher who values both student development and good communication with families.

I know Sophia through her flute teaching, and I have had the opportunity to experience her patient, supportive and professional teaching approach.

What I appreciate most about Sophia is her ability to explain musical concepts clearly and adapt her teaching methods to suit different learning levels. She is encouraging, attentive and always provides constructive feedback to help students improve their flute technique, rhythm and confidence.

One memorable experience was working through a challenging piece of music together. Sophia patiently broke down the difficult sections, explained the techniques step by step and provided helpful practice suggestions. This made the learning process much more manageable and enjoyable.

I would highly recommend Sophia to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, friendly and dedicated flute teacher, especially beginners and intermediate students who want to develop their skills in a positive learning environment.
