About Verónica

Hi! I’m Verónica
I’m a Spanish tutor from Madrid, and I’ve been teaching Spanish for the past 3 years.

Most of the students I meet already know some Spanish. They’ve studied, they know the rules, but when they actually need to speak, everything feels slower, like something gets in the way. That’s usually where I come in.

What I’ve learned is that the problem is rarely a lack of grammar. It’s that the grammar never became something they could use. So I don’t give endless rules. I help you see how Spanish actually behaves, and then we use it right away, out loud.

I studied Journalism, Marketing and Advertising, so my work has always been about communication: saying things clearly and making people understand. That’s how I see language teaching too.

I speak English and Spanish, and I’m currently learning German. So I know what it’s like to be on the other side, trying to say something in a language that isn’t yet yours.

I work with both Castilian and Latin American Spanish, so you can sound natural in different places and situations.

What I enjoy most about my classes is [one real thing, for example: the moment a student says something they didn’t think they could].

About the lesson

My Spanish classes that start with one idea and end with you speaking

Here’s how it works. We take one idea, we make it clear, and then we use it immediately in conversation. That way grammar stops being something abstract and becomes something useful.

Every class is a mix of explanation and conversation, but the balance is yours. Some students need more structure, others want to speak more. I don’t follow a fixed script, so we adjust as we go.
