About Paige
I am the founder of Empowered Education based in Mirfield, where I provide flexible in-person and online tutoring tailored for unique learners aged 3 to adult.
I hold a BA (Hons) in Special Educational Needs, Disabilities and Inclusion, along with professional qualifications including the Award in Education and Training, a Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement, and Level 3 Safeguarding.
My journey in education is built on deep hands-on experience, having worked as a SENCo, within SEND pastoral support, and as a specialist SEND tutor. Because of this background, I understand that traditional educational paths don't work for everyone.
I want to teach because I am deeply passionate about creating a safe, patient, and neuro-affirming space where children, teens, and adults can truly thrive without the pressure of a rigid school system.
Whether a student has a formal diagnosis or simply processes the world a little differently, my goal is to strip away the anxiety of learning, build genuine confidence, and empower every individual to unlock their own unique potential.
