About Deepak

I am a senior Project, Programme and Portfolio Management professional based in Pretoria, South Africa, with over 30 years of experience in telecommunications, public-sector ICT, strategic planning and corporate transformation.

Throughout my career at Telkom, SITA and ATNS, I have managed major national programmes, worked directly with C-suite executives, led multidisciplinary teams and mentored project management professionals.

My professional achievements include managing a R2.4 billion telecommunications modernisation programme, overseeing annual programme budgets of approximately R750 million, and contributing to significant operational improvements and cost savings.

I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Programme Management (NQF Level 8), an Advanced Diploma in Project Management (NQF Level 7), and additional professional qualifications in project and programme management.

I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and helping individuals develop the practical skills, confidence and leadership abilities needed to succeed professionally.

My approach is friendly, patient and supportive, with an emphasis on real-world experience rather than theory alone. I enjoy working with aspiring project managers, experienced professionals and emerging leaders who want to advance their careers.

I am a senior Programme and Portfolio Management professional with over 30 years of experience managing major national programmes, leading multidisciplinary teams and working directly with C-suite executives at Telkom, SITA and ATNS.
