About Emily
¡Hola! My name is Emily and I am a first class Spanish and English graduate from the University of Bristol. I have just completed my teaching qualification (PGCE Spanish and French) at the University of Manchester, and hold Qualified Teacher Status. I have extensive experience teaching Spanish KS3, KS4 and A-Level in two different secondary schools. I understand how to plan and deliver an excellent Spanish lesson, and have an array of useful teaching resources and exam style activities. I also spent a year working in Granada, Spain, as an English Language Assistant. In this role, I delivered interactive and engaging English classes and designed lessons focused on grammar, conversation and writing. This was very rewarding and it was great to see my students develop confidence in themselves and their language skills. I also have lived and worked in Seville and Marbella.

I offer engaging and interactive Spanish tuition from KS2 to university level (all ages). I have five years of tutoring online on MyTutor, and I now tutor privately. Living and working in Spain for two years has developed my Spanish proficiency to a C1 level. As well as my time in Granada, I spent six months studying in Seville in 2022 and I also completed an internship in a Public Relations agency near Málaga. At university, I also volunteered at the Language Cafés, helping first year students with Spanish.
