About Elias

I was born in Argentina, but my family roots are Italian and Bohemian. My mother language is Spanish, but I also speak fluent English and Portuguese as well. During the last years, I have been traveling around the world teaching those languages in a unique, easy, and enjoyable way. Currently, I am living in Cyprus, a small Mediterranean island, so I also get the chance to learn Greek!
I also love music (I play guitar and harmonica), traveling, nature, psychology, spirituality, nutrition, and taking care of my health.
I am sure we will find much in common, and if not, I would love to learn from you!

About the lesson

MY TEACHING STYLE IS QUITE UNIQUE. However, it also varies according to the needs and level of the student.
1. In the first two/three classes, you will we fully equip to read any kind of text as a native speaker does. Reading is the door to knowledge and freedom, and I do not want you to be my eternal student. My goal is to equip you to be a self-taught person.
2. During the next 5 months, we will not focus much on theory or grammar (you will learn it automatically), rather than introducing you to what I call the "duty-free zone" or "friendly zone", a sharable space between Spanish and English (and other languages as well), where words share the same root from ancient Latin and Greek. So, for instance, you will learn over +4000 Spanish words that are almost the same with English. That's amazing! And I believe this is the easiest, most friendly, and most enjoyable way to learn the language.
Parallelly, during this time, we will also do "in-action language", bringing what we learn to the practice by speaking, reading, laughing, and enjoying the nice things about Spanish. Every class we will incorporate more practical language that you can use in your daily life. You will have a lot of fun and love to see your weekly progress!
3. After the 5th month, you will have a good foundation and tools to build your own language skills. At this point, you will decide whether to continue the journey alone or, of course, we can continue learning together, as there is more still to discover!
