I have a Bachelor Degree in Music from the University of Calgary and a Diploma Music Performance from Mount Royal University. I have 10 plus years of teaching and play with the Calgary Civic Symphony Orchestra and Rocky Mountain Symphony Orchestra.

I use Suzuki books for their repertoire, Strictly Strings, and Fiddle Works. I encourage note reading and aim to have the student play various songs quickly at the beginning. Form and playing the right way is also very important as it helps produce beautiful sound.
