About Orlando

I am friendly, easy-going and patient. I love to teach Spanish and to get to know new people. My interests include gym, tennis, pets, and photography, but I am open to talk about any topics and learn from my students.

About the lesson

I personalize each lesson to your level and goals, we can use a wide range of materials such as videos, images, grammar exercises, listening exercises, roleplaying or games. It all depends on your interests and preferences. All the material we use is easily accessible through an online notebook. And I can send homework if you're interested in practicing outside lessons. Additionally, I offer a weekly conversation club so you can speak with fellow students at your level.

When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?
My best friend speaks multiple languages, he got me interested in learning other languages.
What makes you passionate about your subject?
I think speaking multiple languages is a very useful skill. It can help at work, during trips or making new friends. I also firmly believe that learning a second language helps to better understand other cultures, which in turn can reduce conflict around the world.
What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?
I love to feel that I am helping others to reach their aims and better understand Spanish culture. I am passionate about learning and teaching languages. I put a lot of effort into customizing each lesson for the particular needs of my students.
Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.
Yes, I had a teacher at university who always made lessons engaging and funny. He made me realize that being a teacher can be fun and meaningful.
What are your keys to success?
I am hard-working, friendly and organized. My teaching success has to do with my ability to explain grammar easily and having patience with my students.
