About HUGO

I hold a BA in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). I am an active professor with a deep passion for the teaching and learning process. Beyond Spanish, I speak and work with several other languages—French, Italian, German, and Korean—which gives me a richer perspective when helping students navigate the unique challenges of language acquisition. Outside the classroom I am an avid traveler and a lover of demography and art. These interests continually fuel my classes with cultural insights, real-world examples, and a broader understanding of the Spanish-speaking world.

About the lesson

I believe every student is unique. That is why I carefully adapt my methods, materials, and pace to each learner’s goals, personality, and learning style. My aim is not only to give you excellent command of the language, but also to help you feel its spirit—the culture, humor, and way of thinking that live inside Spanish. I combine clear structure and practical tools with authentic materials so that you gain both accuracy and natural fluency. Whether you need conversational confidence, academic Spanish, professional skills, or simply the joy of expressing yourself, I create a supportive and motivating space where real progress happens.
