About HUGO
I hold a BA in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). I am an active professor with a deep passion for the teaching and learning process. Beyond Spanish, I speak and work with several other languages—French, Italian, German, and Korean—which gives me a richer perspective when helping students navigate the unique challenges of language acquisition. Outside the classroom I am an avid traveler and a lover of demography and art. These interests continually fuel my classes with cultural insights, real-world examples, and a broader understanding of the Spanish-speaking world.
