About Masoud
Hello! My name is Masoud, and I am a professional composer, pianist, and music pedagogue with over 40 years of dedicated teaching experience since 1985. Throughout my career, I have mentored more than 2,000 students, a number of whom have become professional musicians and instructors worldwide.
As the first Iranian flamenco pianist and an experienced artist, music is my lifelong expertise. I have performed in over 170 live concerts as a pianist or orchestra director/band leader, and I have taught at some of the most prestigious music academies in Tehran.
Currently based in Los Angeles, I offer high-quality online and in-person piano and music theory lessons. My classes are exclusively tailored and conducted for Persian-speaking students of all ages (from absolute beginners to advanced musicians) who wish to learn music through a structured, academic, and proven method.

My curriculum offers a rigorous, academic, and structured approach to music education, divided into two distinct phases to ensure proper skill development for all levels:
1. General Course (Foundations): Focuses on core musicianship for all students, including fundamental piano techniques, sheet music reading, introductory music theory, and Solfège (sight-reading and ear training). Students will also learn to play diverse, well-known pieces from various genres to gain an initial familiarity with different musical styles.
2. Advanced Specialized Course: Where students select their preferred style and dive deeper into advanced performance, advanced Music Theory, Harmony, Form, and Analysis.
Available Styles in the Specialized Course:
* Classical, Pop, Flamenco, and popular Persian melodies arranged for standard piano tuning (Equal Temperament).
As an instructor, I provide precise technical guidance and structural discipline. For students who are dedicated, consistent, and follow the lesson plans carefully, this approach builds a solid and deep foundation in contemporary and classical musicianship.
