We do a combination of both and in just 9 months, I really feel like my skills have grown! She is super flexible with scheduling and our lessons are casual and really productive. I have been working with Danielle for about two months. I started taking lessons with her to enhance my ability to create melodic phrases. She brought so much more to the table regarding songwriting skills than just melodic phasing. Such as chord progressions that enhance the feeling of a song. Knowing when to insert chord changes on specific word syllables to empathize the feelings of the lyrics. She was also able to take the original lyrics of my songs and cut back on the wordiness to instill more mystery in the song. I’m also extremely impressed with her ability to use syncopation. When I listen to my original song next to the modified version which contains all the changes she suggested, there is a night and day difference. Her version sounds like a hit song.

Danielle's understanding of chords is truly amazing. Her ability to tailor the learning experience to the students needs is perfect. Danielle is able to teach me piano, song writing, voice, and inspire other family members to participate in online learning with only positive results.
