About Farel
I am thrilled to be your tutor! I have over 10 years of experience as a lead photographer in Dubai, working with luxury brands such as Hermes and Dior, as well as major players in the streetwear scene like Puma, Nike, and Adidas.
During my time in Dubai, I was fortunate enough to be part of some of the biggest festivals in the Middle East, featuring artists like Asap Rocky, Nas, Wu-Tang, and PushT. These experiences have taught me the importance of adapting quickly to changing circumstances and finding creative solutions to challenges that arise on the job.
My approach to teaching photography is based on the belief that anyone can develop their skills and creativity, regardless of their level of experience or access to equipment. I focus on teaching the fundamentals of photography, including composition, lighting, and post-processing, as well as practical techniques for capturing great shots in a variety of settings.

It was an incredible experience to work alongside some of the most talented artists and creative minds in the industry, all coming together to celebrate the vibrant street culture of the region.
From the planning stages to the execution, it was an intense and rewarding journey that taught me so much about teamwork, leadership, and the power of collaboration. I was responsible for capturing the festival's energy and essence through my lens, documenting the performances of some of the biggest names in the music industry, such as Asap Rocky, Nas, Wu-Tang, and PushT.
Being part of such an amazing event opened up new doors for me in the industry, and I am proud to have been a part of it. It gave me the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and to develop my skills as a photographer. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experience with my students in Perth and helping them reach their own potential in the world of photography.
