About Nicolas

As a dedicated wedding and travel photographer in New York, I focus on capturing real moments and telling true stories through my photos. With a degree from the New York Film Academy and teaching experience, I offer a strong mix of technical know-how and creative insight. My approach emphasizes simplicity, creativity, and curiosity, using natural light and authentic emotions to guide my work. I aim to help students enhance their photography skills while inspiring them to discover their personal style and storytelling through images.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I focus on hands-on learning and practical experience. I simplify photography topics like camera settings, exposure, and composition, giving students lots of chances to practice. I provide personalized feedback to help them grow and encourage them to find their own creative style. Each lesson includes demonstrations, practice exercises, and reviews. Perfect! Nicolas has been such a wonderful photography teacher for our teenager! With a detailed plan developed by Nicolas in place for each session, he learned so much and came away truly excited about photography helping establish a new hobby. Nicolas was so flexible with meeting locations, making each lesson feel fresh, inspiring, and full of new perspectives. He even worked beautifully with our old 15-year-old digital camera, showing that great teaching is all about skill and creativity, not just fancy equipment. We’re so grateful for his patience, encouragement, and talent for the art of photography.

Perfect! Nicolas was an excellent teacher. Very clear in his communication. Had a really strong understanding of the building blocks of photography and we applied them in fun, practical ways throughout the lesson.
