About Fernando
Fernando Munizaga (Chile, 1986) studied composition and guitar at the Universidad Católica de Chile and at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. He participated in “Cursus I: Practical Training in Composition and Computer Music” at the IRCAM Center Pompidou. He is currently in the concert exam composition at the HMDK Stuttgart with Prof. Marco Stroppa. In his work, he is currently concentrating on conceptual exploration and the prosodic, phonetic and structural analysis of various poetic texts from various cultural areas. The materials resulting from this research flow into musical compositions, whereby he works both instrumentally and electronically.
