About Paolo

When I was 13, I met the guitar for the first time and my parents decided to enroll me in a group course with other kids. After two months I got moved with those of the third year, not because a prodigy, but because I immediately decided to spend my afternoons playing guitar, obtaining results that can only be obtained with a lot of practice. Subsequently I approached the electric guitar, deciding to seriously invest in a new path of private lessons.

I played in different bands, I achived more than twenty live dates (both acoustic and electric) and I have collaborated as guitarist and producer in various songs. I also practice bass, keyboard and ukulele (obviosuly in a total different level). I was born as a hard rock guitarist, but lately I moved to new sounds, including nu metal, math, progressive and nu jazz. I believe the digital revolution of the last 20 years has brought today's music scene to levels never reached before, and that, despite the great names of the past, is the best time to get passionate about a musical instrument.

I believe that motivation, when starting a new educational path, is the pivot on which a good teacher must leverage. For this reason, I particularly care about the student's intentions, goals and expectations. I would like to define the teaching methods from time to time, basing my work on indibidual's needs; as some may prefer a practical and concrete approach, others may need theoretical notions or more general knowledge of the instrument. Each approach is valid when it leads to concrete results, and this is my main goal. The teacher's job does not consist in passing information (which can be easily found online), but in setting a personal path and method. For this reason I offer a first free lesson, so we can talk about goals, see the instrument, but above all understand how to move.

  • Quale musica potresti ascoltare in loop senza stancarti mai?

    Rock e jazz senza dubbio!

David Gilmour, Flea e David Maxim Micic.
