About William
I have always felt very passionate about language; while pursuing my bachelor's degree in linguistics, I would like to include tutoring on my resume. I have been learning Spanish for four years now and am confident in my knowledge of the basics of the language. I expect a tutoring environment which is respectful and curious. Hate speech will not be tolerated. I encourage my students to ask thoughtful and engaging questions related to Spanish. As a tutor I am also learning from my students; feedback is greatly appreciated and will be used constructively to improve my lessons.

All lessons will take place on Google Meet. We begin by learning the alphabet, pronunciation, then move on to basic verbs and nouns. You will be instructed to make flash cards from home. Every other lesson there will be a quiz on the cards. During lessons students will write basic sentences in Spanish and have conversations (either with each other or the tutor). There will also be a section of the lesson dedicated to students translating between Spanish and English. All students are welcome regardless of native language. This is an introductory Spanish course meant for those who haven't learned Spanish before or need supplemental tutoring for their intro course at a high school level.
