About Kevin

I know exactly where English speakers get stuck: I had to overcome those same challenges, too! My goal is to explain Spanish in ways that make sense to English speakers while helping you sound more natural in real conversations.

I learned Spanish through 4 years of study in high school and continued self-study throughout college and as an adult.

I can teach Latin American Spanish (general) and some Mexican Spanish.

With me, you can learn:
• How to order food from a Spanish restaurant menu
• Have a conversation with friends, coworkers, and associates
• Prepare for travel to Latin America or Spain
• Speak with true confidence and overcome your language anxiety

About the lesson

Remember learning Spanish in school and forgetting what you learned the day afterwards?

In my Spanish lessons, we work together to both learn, retain, and reuse vocabulary that sticks!

Spanish is my second language, so I know the struggle many Spanish learners face when learning vocabulary, conjugation, and conversing. As I continue to hone my Spanish-speaking skills, I'm happy to share my knowledge and workarounds with you, the student!

My lessons are perfect for beginners and intermediate-level (2-3 years of Spanish study) speakers.

Before our first lesson, I would love to know:
• How much Spanish do you currently know?
• Which aspects of Spanish would you like to work on? (Speaking, reading, writing, listening)
• What would you like the main takeaway to be from a lesson with me?
• What would be the most productive use of our time together?
