About Deepak

- I'm an Engineer by education but a Musician By profession. Founder and Guitar/Performance Faculty of The Strings Theory(for classes, visit (concealed information)
- I have over 10 years of teaching experience and am still running. Teaching over 60+ students from more than 12 different cities & 8 countries (only online)
- Have performed more than 500+ shows in 17 different cities.
- Recently been awarded the Highest Achiever award from the entire eastern zone in Grade 1 Electric Guitar from Rockschool of Music London.
- Recently we with our band NAUSIKHIYE have launched our 2nd single "Saajna" which is streaming on all major music platforms like Spotify, JioSaavn, Apple Music, iTunes, Amazon Music, Gaana, etc. - Student of Mr. Sanjeev Thomas, Lead Guitarist of Mr.AR—Rehman & Mr. Sid Sriram and right now taking an advanced course under him.

About the lesson

My method of teaching is to make things simpler. Follow My 2 "P" 1. Patience 2. Practice. I've specially made a syllabus for beginners and intermediates. and add to that we would be covering some vocal lessons. And this all will be done in a fun way.

I finally purchased my own guitar in 2014 but still couldn't find time to play it as I was occupied with work. This lockdown due to corona served to be a blessing as I asked Deepak to finally teach me how to play. He has been a constant supporter of my learnings and has always kept me encouraged to improve and learn. I have progressed a lot with his help and playing the guitar now gives me a sense of peace and tranquility. Now I am addicted to my guitar and there is rarely a day on which I don't play it. Deepak is a really good teacher who will start will from the basics and help you unravel the mystery behind learning guitar. I will keep learning from him as there is no limit to him knowledge.

Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
I picked up guitar way back in my high school when I was in NCC and in those days to get selected for Republic Day parade you got to have some music knowledge. But lazy me didn't get selected and slowly I lost interest and then went to engineering and realised I was in a wrong profession. From there on, I picked up my instrument and started learning (still learning). Personally, it's a stress buster. It helped me get out of my very hard days.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
My Dad & my ex, yes you may be surprised with the 2nd person. My Dad taught me the instrument and my ex pushed me to go to that stage and love what i really do and after the break up it really pushed me to take my dream to reality.
How does your work help society?
As a guy from a middle class family, I know what it takes us and parents to fulfil our dreams. Seeing that we have started an initiative that whoever is willing to learn music and take it seriously we would be helping them out without any cost, from buying an instrument to teaching them for free, its on us.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
My role model is none other than Mr. Sanjeev Thomas (those who don't know, Google him). I followed him for 2 years. I just love the stage presence of him, how he just kills those 6 strings and how he is helping others in music and now I have the privilege to be a student of his makes one of my dreams come true.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
Nothing, just a lazy guy who just cooks (or experiments with food) in my free time and makes some posters to promote my Music School.
