Ángela is one of our best Spanish tutors. High-quality profile and excellent qualifications, organised and responsive to lesson requests, appreciated by their students!

About Ángela

As a tutor, I would define myself as a bubbly and easy-going person. I like to get to know my students and build a relationship where they learn, and they feel comfortable talking to me about whatever they want to talk about.

Learning a language cannot be a battle. Learning a language is opening a door to a whole new culture, so I love teaching my classes in a fun atmosphere, making them as easy as possible − whenever Subjunctive allow us!

About the lesson

¡Hola! Me llamo Ángela y soy de Málaga, una ciudad en el sur de España.

I hold a Degree and a Masters in Translation (so I speak English and French) and I am currently a PhD student. I'm also a certified Spanish tutor and I work as Spanish Lecturer.

Through all my academic studies, I have worked as a private tutor − almost 10 years now! I have been lucky to work in academies, private companies, schools, high-schools and universities, within Spain, France and England.
I am used to teaching to a different variety of students: adults, kids and teenagers, 1-to-1 and small groups.

In our first lesson, we will get to know each other a little bit, so I can evaluate what is your level of Spanish.
I will set some goals with you, acknowledging your strengths and weaknesses. This will help me prepare a learning path for you with personalised content.
We can work on grammar, reading, oral comprehension, production and writing.
We can prepare together DELE exams (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera), work on your fluency, accent or even in Spanish academic writing.

Lovely to meet you, Gary
We will keep in touch after your trip and we can plan our classes. We can work towards getting back your fluency in French and work on building full structured sentences in Spanish.

Nicklas (Emila's son) is a lovely and polite boy. I really enjoyed chatting with him and getting to know him better. I will be happy to continue working with him to improve his Spanish.

I had such a lovely time with you. You are so funny!
Your Spanish is great, you are in an advance level, we will just have to work on correcting those grammar mistakes. I am pretty confident it will be easy :)

Great understanding of Spanish for a "beginner". He knows some grammar rules and remembers a lot of vocabulary. I could tell that Alex knows some Spanish basics but he needs more practice as he mentioned that his classes stopped for a while. I'm confident that with some effort we can work together towards A2-B1 level.

Angela is a very skilled and patient teacher. I have no doubt that she will definitely enable any student to attain their goal of speaking Spanish. She has a lovely personality and she gave me the confidence I lack to at least attempt speaking Spanish. I actually believe I might just make myself understood on my next trip to Spain. I was very lucky to find her!

Angela is passionate about what she does and her love of teaching comes out in every class. She is fun and adjusts her vocabulary and accent to her student’s language level. She is really organised and focused, identifying my weaknesses quickly and helping me to improve them with clarity.

She has also made herself available when needed. I have also really appreciated her warmth, patience and support - thank you Angela!
