About Zachary

- What kind of experience do you have?

As stated above, I was immersed in performance arts from an early age. Prior to training, I had taken part in both stage productions with my father, Jean-Claude Fall, my mother, Lila Greene, as well as taken part in workshops with Julien Bouffier. After training at the Drama Centre London, I have constantly remaine active in the industry as an actor and created the award-winning production company Woven Voices.
My acting credits include Polark, Versailles (BBC), Genius: Picasso (National Geographic), Guilt (Freeform & Netflix) and Tartuffe (West End).

- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?

Yes, the most recent certificate was issued in August 2019. I can provide another within a few days if ever necessary.

- Tell me about some of your current students.

I regularly work with other actors on their auditions and self-tapes. These have lead to work in the West End and on TV. I have also worked with young actors auditioning for Drama School and advised them on what monologues to chose. There is nothing more rewarding than knowing someone you have worked with went on to have a successful meeting!

English

I am a professional actor working regularly for the screen and stage, and as a voice-over artist. I also produce work for the stage and screen through my company Woven Voices, which won a Fringe First Award in Edinburgh Fringe 2019 for the play Subject Mater.
I am French-American, perfectly bilingual, from a “famille d'artistes” (my father is a theatre director and my mother is a dancer-choreographer).

- Which subject(s) do you teach?

I teach audition technique, which can range from preparing your drama school auditions and interviews, to helping you audition for TV, film and stage.

I can also help you prepare and film self-tapes using your own set-up. I have booked most of my jobs through self-tapes using a simple iPad set-up!

We will work on finding your unique selling points (USPs) and how to hone your skills to make you stand out in meetings and auditions.

Finally, if English is your second language, I can also help you work on your accent if needed.

- Tell me about your qualifications.

I have been immersed in the world of performance from an early age, my mother being a dancer-choreographer, and my father a theatre director and actor. My first acting experience was with The New York Film Academy's, where I partook in a summer course. I then acted on stage in my father's production of Richard III. After this, I auditioned and was offered a place at Drama Centre London where I started on the Foundation in Performance before getting accepted on their prestigious 3 year BA Acting course, graduating in 2013. Drama Centre alumni include Tom Hardy, Michael Fassbender, Colin Firth, Emilia Clarke, Paul Bettany and Gwendoline Christie.
Since graduating, I have worked regularly on stage (including in the West End) and screen (TV & film), working opposite Aidan Turner, Billy Zane, Clémence Poésy, Paul Anderson and Antonio Banderas to name a few. I have also voiced various characters on recent video-game hits The Division 2 and A Plague Tale: Innocence.
Finally, I run a production company for the screen and stage called Woven Voices. We have received numerous nominations for our short films and have won a Scotsman's Fringe First Award 2019 at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

- How much do you charge and where do you teach?

I charge £30/hour to teach from my home, which is in Muswell Hill.

For sessions with two people or more, I can give each person 30 minutes of coaching for £20 each. Group sessions are extremely useful as they allow you to learn from other people's work, seeing how others approach a text and respond to directions, as well as developping your own taste in acting styles, techniques and text work.

I have a 24h cancellation policy, any cancellations less than 24h in advance will be charged in full (exceptions will be made for extenuating circumstances).

I can travel to most London areas. However, I will charge an additional fee for any travels longer than 30mins.

I can also teach via Skype, Zoom or Facetime.

- When are you available?

I have a very flexible schedule and am happy to teach any day of the week, ideally some time between 9am and 8pm.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

All ages and all levels are welcome.

- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?

Foundation in Performance
BA Acting
BA Performing Arts
Professional castings for the screen and stage

- Do you have a personal message for students?

Whether you are a beginner or experienced in this industry, auditions and meetings can be scary. I provide a safe and supportive space to hone and develop your craft, and boost your confidence when walking into the room. We will take the time to study your text, understand your character, find out your strenghts and weaknesses, what your USPs are and how to showcase you in the best possible light.
Having worked on both sides of the table at auditions, both for the screen and stage, I have a very good understanding of how these can feel, what to look out for and how to make you stand out.
