About Zuri
I am an Engineering tutor with 7 years of teaching experience, supporting students from school level to college level. Over the years, I have successfully taught around 150 students and helped them improve their understanding, confidence, and academic performance. My goal is to make engineering subjects simple, practical, and easy to learn for every student.
I teach core Engineering subjects such as Engineering Mathematics, Engineering Mechanics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Thermodynamics, Strength of Materials, Fluid Mechanics, Control Systems, and basic Circuit Analysis. I also guide students in problem-solving, assignments, and exam preparation across different engineering topics.
My teaching philosophy is based on clarity, patience, and strong fundamentals. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style according to their needs. I focus on explaining concepts step by step and connecting theory with real-life applications. I encourage students to ask questions freely and build confidence in their learning process.
One of my notable achievements is helping many students who initially struggled with technical subjects to achieve good academic progress. I have also supported students in clearing exams with improved grades through structured learning and consistent practice.
My sessions are interactive, supportive, and focused on long-term understanding rather than memorization. I aim to develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills in my students. Ultimately, my mission is to make engineering easy, interesting, and useful for future careers.

My teaching approach in Engineering is focused on building strong fundamentals and practical understanding. I believe engineering becomes easier when concepts are connected to real world applications. My tutoring style is flexible, understanding, and encouraging, so students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I teach core Engineering subjects such as Basic Engineering Science, Engineering Mechanics, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Thermodynamics, Strength of Materials, Fluid Mechanics, and Control Systems. I also support students in areas like Circuit Analysis, Power Systems, Digital Electronics, and Engineering Mathematics.
I focus on step by step explanations so that even complex topics become simple and logical. I encourage students to understand the “why” behind every formula instead of memorizing it. My sessions include practical examples from industry and daily life to make learning more meaningful. I also guide students through problem solving techniques that are important for exams and assignments. Special attention is given to improving analytical thinking and application skills.
I support learners in exam preparation, assignments, and project work. My goal is to help students gain confidence in handling technical subjects independently. I adapt my teaching methods based on each student’s needs and learning speed. I create a positive and supportive environment where students feel motivated to improve continuously. Ultimately, I aim to make engineering simple, interesting, and useful for real career growth.
