About David

Hi! My name is David Parker, and I am a Mathematics tutor with a First Class degree and over 8 years of teaching experience.

Along the way, I discovered I had a natural gift for explaining Math in ways that genuinely make sense to people. That realization shaped my entire approach. I am warm, patient, and easy to talk to — my students never feel judged for not understanding something. I create a space where questions are welcome and progress is always the focus.

I bring deep subject knowledge, a proven track record across secondary school, university, and adult learners, and a high standard of professionalism to every session.

If you are looking for a tutor who is qualified, dependable, and genuinely invested in your success, I would love to work with you.

About the lesson

Noted! Here's the updated version:

Math has a reputation for being intimidating. My job is to change that. Over the past 8 years, I've helped high school students, university undergraduates, and working professionals go from feeling stuck to genuinely confident in Math, Algebra, and Further Math.

Each session runs for one hour online. I use visual aids, real-life examples, and practice drills to make concepts stick — not just for the exam, but for good. Every lesson is tailored to you, so we move at a pace that actually works.

With my first class degree in Mathematics, 8 years of teaching experience, I know the subject deeply and I know how to break it down — those are two very different skills, and I've spent years developing both.

It’s rare to come by people who can go back and forth a lesson when you don’t understand, and David is that rare example.

Love that part about him.

Highly recommended.

The best part of the lecture with David is how he is willing to go over what he said no matter how many times I said “I don’t get it.”

This is something not everyone will do and I really loved that approach.

I will highly recommend him any day, anytime.
