About Joy

Hey there! I'm a self-taught developer who started my coding journey back in 2019. I know exactly how overwhelming it can feel because I've been there, I've made all the classic beginner mistakes myself!

Now, I use that experience to my students' advantage. I don't just teach you how to code; I teach you how to think like a developer and guide you around the common pitfalls that trip most people up.

My teaching style is relaxed, fun, and built on real-world examples. I believe if you're enjoying the process, you're learning better. I'm here to demystify code and help you build the skills and confidence to create your own projects.

About the lesson

My lessons are a mix of clear explanation, hands-on coding, and collaborative problem-solving. We'll move beyond just theory and focus on building things right away.

My kids now know what opening tags are :). She's also very patient with kids, and studies their thought, learning and behavioral patterns in order to decide how best to teach them. Kudos to Joy
