I’ve been playing the trombone for 11 years and I’ve made a lot of progress in a short period of time with the right methods. It’s never about how long you practice. Are you focused? Are you paying attention to mistakes and taking note? That’s where the real progress is made when you’re able to identify the problems immediately and focus on your technique!
