About Steeves
My name is Steeves Guild and I am a graduate of Lakehead University with my BASc and BEd. I have been given the opportunity to teach grades 2/3 and 4 in the Simcoe school Board for my university placements. In addition, I have spent a significant amount of time volunteering and teaching English to Mayan children.

I believe in the educational philosophy of creating trusting and caring relationships. I have always known that people (especially children) are more likely to listen to you, if they care about you. When the classroom has a kind, fun atmosphere, the students are more likely to get involved and initiate their own learning. Students learn best when they want to learn and are having a good time doing so.
