About Jianning
I am a 16-year-old native Mandarin speaker currently living and studying in Adelaide, Australia. I grew up speaking Mandarin at home and I am very proud of my Chinese language and culture. I decided to become a tutor because I love teaching, especially young children. Seeing kids get excited when they successfully say a new Chinese word or understand a fun idiom makes me really happy. I am patient, friendly, and energetic, and I remember what it feels like to learn something new, so I try to make every lesson encouraging and fun. Even though I am young, I am responsible and always well-prepared for classes. I believe anyone can learn Chinese if they have the right teacher and a little confidence.

I am a 16-year-old native Mandarin speaker living in Adelaide. I specialise in teaching young children and helping students improve their spoken Chinese. My lessons are fun, patient and interactive, especially designed for kids. I use games, songs, stories and simple activities to make learning enjoyable for little ones. For older students, I focus on practical speaking practice and teach beautiful Chinese idioms (chengyu) and classic ancient poems in an easy-to-understand way. Each lesson includes lots of speaking time, pronunciation correction, and cultural stories behind the idioms and poems. Whether your child is a complete beginner or wants to build confidence in speaking, I will create personalised lessons that match their age and level. First trial lesson is available at a special rate so you can see how engaging my classes are
