About Rubia
I am a smiling, joyful and patient person, always ready to face stressful and difficult situations with a lot of listening and calmness. My greatest passions are painting and photography, which I always try to take with me on my travels. In the future, I would like to become an Art Therapist so that I can share a safe space with anyone who wants to explore their inner world, their emotions and thoughts.

Although I have never taught Italian in professional settings, I have taught English many times in informal volunteer contexts. I believe I have a good ability to interact and manage the lesson, creating a balance between a more playful part and a more didactic one. What I offer are different types of lessons, either oriented towards simple but useful conversation or structured for learning particular topics (e.g. introduction of self, grammar, vocabulary...). The lesson plan I think should be shared and structured together with the student according to his/her/their wishes and needs, so that we share a enjoyable space and time for everyone.
