About Maria

If you are looking for a teacher that can offer you step-by-step progress in a punctual and personalized class, let me introduce you myself! I am Maria, I am from Greece and languages is my passion! I hold a Bachelor's in Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpreting from Ionian University and a Master's Degree in the Science of Translation! Throughout my studies, I realised that languages is more than my passion, it's the love of my life! And this is why, the last seven (7) years I have been teaching English, French and Greek! ️

I know how much commited you are in that unprecedented journey of learning greek! And I have to tell you that I am even more commited and passioned than you may think! For that reason, be sure that you will never feel having been left behind! By the end of each lesson, you will receive my exclusive materials, that we did during the class, in a word or in a PDF document so you can study independently! All the vocabulary and the expressions are also included in the materials you will receive by the end of the class!
Your skills and your creativiness are never too late to be developped!

About the lesson

During the past seven years I had the opportunity to teach a wide variety of students! They varied from age (children to adults) and from levels (beginners to advanced). All of my students have seen great results in their competences, as you may see for some of them in my reviews! Even more admirable has been the fact that they could sit for the exam of "Ellinomatheia'', which is the diploma that certifies your greek knowledge! It's never too late to think about that! I am super enthusiazed when I prepare my students for the exams, so don't hesitate to ask me about!

The reason why my students have excellent results is hidding behind my teaching itself! During all these years of teaching a have sorted out the best materials! For adults, I use different books for each level and different interactive visual resources, as well! As far as the children are concerned, I am more focused on an interactive method of teaching through activities in their place, under my guidance, flash cards and drawing!

So, for adults, I usually split the class in two parts: in the first part we are using the book that is grated for your level, where we learn grammar rules that are indispensable so you can be able to construct sentences and in the second part we learn vocabulary, every day expressions and we listen to videos of authentic greek speakers! ️ Through the grammar rules we learn in the first part, you are so much facilitated to use them with the vocabulary and the every day expressions of the second part, so you can adapt them into the small dialogues we make at the end of each class!

In each class we are also focused in interactive resources, with topics of the every day greek life. That means that you will never get bored and you will have a continuous touch with greek life! ️
