Spending 13 years performing in San Francisco has refined how I teach music theory and songwriting. You might find that ear training and mastering scales are the missing pieces for your musical growth. I emphasize chord transitions and modes to help you understand the architecture of your favorite songs. My approach is hands-on and very patient for beginners who want to build a solid foundation.
