About Chloe
"Living between Seattle and Nashville for over 12 years has shaped my perspective as a performing musician. I am entirely self-taught.
This path forced me to develop a deep, practical understanding of the instrument that goes beyond simple theory. My work centers on teens and returning players who often feel stuck with static, non-musical methods.
These students are usually craving structure that actually results in playability. I see many self-taught players who have hit a ceiling and just need a clear bridge to the next stage.
My approach prioritizes the connection between your hands and your ears. Helping people bridge the gap from a collection of chords to a finished song remains my favorite part of the job. I still gig regularly, so I keep my own playing sharp by staying active on stage."

"How does your current practice session handle the transition from simple scales to meaningful song structure? Before we even pick up an instrument for the first time, I perform a thorough diagnostic skills check to see exactly where your technique sits. This helps us build a plan that avoids the usual filler and keeps us moving toward your goals. I combine 12 years of stage performance with a focus on fingerpicking, blues, and electric technique.
We will look at maintenance and ear training as tools for your songwriting. My degree in the school of hard knocks means I focus on what works on a gig. You will learn to treat the fretboard as a tool for expression rather than a list of tasks.
We focus on the song rather than isolated drills. You will see how electric technique informs acoustic playing. The progress usually follows a natural arc from there."
