About Regina

I am a first-year Biology Master's student at the University of Szeged, specializing in molecular, immune, and microbiology. Currently, thanks to the Pannónia Scholarship, I am expanding my studies by spending a semester at the University of Turin enrolled in their Molecular Biotechnology and Cell and Molecular Biology Master's programs. From the very beginning, I have been doing research work in a genetics research group beside my university studies. Thanks to this I have gained extensive theoretical and practical experience in the field of biology. My outstanding academic results and research scholarship prove my commitment to the subject. I have also expanded my teaching experience by organizing science popularization programs, such as the Researchers' Night, and by tutoring at universities. My advanced biology graduation exam was commendable, ending with a perfect oral exam. I have already helped teaching genetics in high school. I would primarily like to teach middle and elementary school students to help them understand and love biology, but I am also happy to take on university students.

About the lesson

Who is the class for:
-General and high school students who want to understand and love biology.
-High school students who are preparing for advanced or intermediate level final exam in biology.
-Anyone who is interested in biology and wants to expand their knowledge.

Teaching techniques and methods:
-Personalized approach: Every student is unique, so I adapt my classes to their needs and learning style.
-Interactive learning: Instead of passive listening, I encourage students to actively participate. Questions, tasks, and practical examples help them understand the material.
-Visualization and illustration: Biology often contains complex concepts, so I consider it important to use visual tools (diagrams, videos, microscope images).
-Genetics specialization: In my experience, genetics often causes difficulties for students. My research background allows me to provide confident help in this area, with deeper knowledge and practical examples.

A typical lesson:
-Short review: Review of the previous lesson's material.
-Presentation of new material: Clear explanations, visual aids, practical examples.
-Exercise solution: Solving problems related to the material, answering students' questions.
-Summary and homework: Summarizing the material, discussing homework.

My characteristics as a teacher:
-Enthusiasm and motivation: I love biology, and I pass this enthusiasm on to my students.
-Patience and understanding: I know that learning takes time and effort, so I help students patiently.
-Up-to-date knowledge: As a university student, I am constantly expanding my knowledge by regularly monitoring the literature, so I can provide up-to-date information.
-Research experience: I incorporate my experience gained in genetic research into my teaching.

Perfect! Nagyon kedves és segítőkész. Rengeteg tananyagot ad, amiből jól lehet tanulni, és ezek az ő saját jegyzetei, amivel sokat dolgozott. Emellett mindig ad gyakorló feladatokat is, hogy jobban megértsem az anyagot. Sokféle hasznos tanácsot ad a tanuláshoz, ami sokat segít a felkészülésben. Ha kérdésem van, mindig tud rá válaszolni, és érthetően magyarázza el a dolgokat, akár 100x is. Szerintem nagyon jó tanár, mert látszik rajta, hogy fontos neki, hogy a diákjai megértsék és tényleg megszeressék a biológiát.
