About Filippo

Dear future students,

I am Filippo Trevisani and I am excited to share with you my knowledge in economics, mathematics, statistics and econometrics. I have had the privilege of studying and working in these fields, developing a deep passion for each of these disciplines.

My goal is to make these subjects accessible and interesting to you by providing you with the tools you need to understand and apply key concepts. I firmly believe that a solid education in these areas can open many doors and provide you with numerous professional and academic opportunities.

Who I am?
I'm Filippo, graduated in Economics and Finance with experience in teaching and tutoring. My goal is to make students autonomous and confident in their studies through an effective method.

How do I teach?
I actively involve students during lessons, encouraging them to ask questions and actively participate in solving the exercises.
I adapt my teaching method to each student's needs and learning style, ensuring that each lesson is tailor-made.
I believe it is essential to consolidate theoretical knowledge through numerous practical exercises. This helps reinforce understanding and memorize key concepts.

How is a lesson conducted?
I begin with a brief review of the topics covered in previous lessons
I explain the new topic clearly and in detail, using practical examples to facilitate understanding.
After introducing the theory, I guide the student through some practical exercises, providing support and clarifications in case of difficulties.
I encourage the student to solve some exercises independently to check their understanding of the topic.
I provide immediate feedback, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.
I assign tasks to carry out independently to consolidate what has been learned during the lesson.

And the teaching material?
I provide additional teaching material (summary sheets, exercises and online resources)
I teach effective study techniques, such as the use of concept maps, summary charts and memorization methods.
Each lesson ends with detailed feedback, where we discuss the progress made and plan areas to focus on in future lessons.

Who are the lessons aimed at?
School level: I offer lessons for lower and upper secondary school and university students.
I adapt my lessons both to those who need to make up for gaps and to those who want to excel in the subject.
My lessons are aimed at students of all ages, from children to adults.
