About Sinazo

Hello, future students! My name is Sinazo Mkenyana and I'm a second-year BSc Chemistry student with a passion for mathematics and teaching. As someone who has always been fascinated by the way math underlies many of the natural sciences, I've developed a strong foundation in mathematical concepts and principles. My interest in teaching stems from my own experiences as a student. I remember struggling with certain math concepts and feeling frustrated when I couldn't understand them. However, with the help of patient and supportive teachers, I was able to overcome those challenges and develop a deeper appreciation for math. Now, I want to pay it forward and help others achieve their own math goals. I believe that everyone has the potential to excel in math, and I'm committed to providing personalized guidance and support to help you succeed. As your tutor, I promise to be patient, encouraging, and supportive. About the lesson

As a current BSc Chemistry student with a strong foundation in mathematics (having achieved a Level 6 in math during my matriculation), I've developed a unique approach to teaching math that emphasizes conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, and real-world applications. My experience tutoring physics has also given me insight into how math is used to describe the natural world, allowing me to create engaging and relevant lesson plans that highlight the connections between math and science. What sets my lessons apart is my ability to break down complex math concepts into simple, easy-to-understand language, making math accessible and enjoyable for students of all skill levels. I'm committed to providing personalized attention and feedback to each student, ensuring that they receive the support and guidance they need to succeed in math.
