About Joseph
Hello, my name is Joseph. I am Italian and I live in Trieste, but I love travelling. I love movies, growing vegetables and sports as well. In particular, I play rugby, soccer and I boulder. I am interested in studying society, economics, cultures and languages. I would like to convey my passion for studies. How? Via offering peculiar lenses to see things in a way that sparks curiosity.
I love languages. I learned German at school and during University in Germany. Therefore I would be glad to transmit such knowledge. I learned English since I am kid, as my mother is Indian, until recent years when I attended a two-years master held in English language in an International environment. Italian is my mother tongue and I am truly in love with this beautiful language. I am looking forward to teach it. I studied economics in my bachelor and I have been teaching such a subject to several students. I am eager to continue with you as well. Book a class with me!

I would like to teach the Italian culture, in different modules. With each chapter I combine vocabulary, grammar, speaking, listening, writing and reading. The learning is interactive, dynamic and open to improvements coming from the learners. Of course, we can discuss together what is best and agree on a solution.
I have a teaching experience of two years. I attended my master degree in an University with unconventional teaching/learning methods. My method is to stimulate the student. In this way the learning process is most effective as well as pleasant. I start from the student's interests, foci, features, goals. I try to relate notions with these. I seek to show the bigger picture surrounding a single concept or topic. I connect the dots. I bring real-world examples. The lessons are interactive. I have a practical, pragmatic and empathetic attitude.
