Hi, I am Marie and this is the story of becoming a professional Yoga Teacher:

Movement has always been a part of me: I danced, played football, and did martial arts. I was flowing and learning.
After my first Yoga class I felt like never before. So different and good! For me, yogic breathing has changed the whole life game and suddenly my monkey mind was quiet.

Stillness. Just for a moment.

By developing a daily yoga routine, I started to perceive my body and mind differently. I took up opportunities for teaching and I had the opportunities to work with inspiring people in various settings. For several years I taught regular classes in Berlin, workshops at festivals or retreats. I worked as a content producer and blogger for a yoga startup and lived a nomadic life while teaching online and offline.

What I mostly enjoy about Yoga teaching, are all the mental processes. When a student is showing up, it already means a lot: It means that this person has committed to work on himself. And that is what I love as a teacher. I love to show people how to find their inner strength and it's actually easy. Because this person has already made a first step!

I love teaching. Especially, taking time for working 1 on 1. Here, I can provide individual training plans and the connection between me and my students grow to a deeper level. In my opinion private coaching combined with a determined self practice is the best way how to learn.

About the lesson

Everybody can do Yoga, it's not something we might see on social media, but it's your journey, your body and your well-being!

In Yoga you practice muscle control, breathing and mental-strength.

You are picked up from where you are right now.
Decide what you want to focus on and together we create your personal journey and training plan.

How do we get started ?

Before the first class we will correspond and figure out a direction. I will create an individual Yoga training plan for you, which helps you to achieve and track your goals. You can focus for instance on improving your flexibility, general fitness, or simply having fun and enjoying the moment.

How are group classes?
Group classes are meant for sharing this experience with friends!
For me, it is wonderful seeing a group grow together. How students laugh together and support, encourage each other. It is simply more fun to learn, work out, and laugh together.
Be spontaneous, make your home a fun place to be and try it out ;)

If you always wanted to start Yoga or you want to deepen your practice, this might be perfect for you. The classes will help you to grow within your practice, push you and give you all the tools to practice Yoga confidently for yourself.
