About Nidhi

Thank you so much for expressing your interest in taking classes with me. It would be my pleasure to guide you on your yoga journey and help you achieve your wellness goals. As a yoga teacher, my aim is to create a supportive and nurturing environment where my students can cultivate mindfulness, build strength, increase flexibility, and reduce stress. I believe that yoga is for everyone, regardless of age, fitness level, or experience. My classes are designed to be dynamic and challenging, yet accessible to all. Whether you are new to yoga or have been practicing for years, I will work with you to tailor each session to your individual needs and goals.   • 1. Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

    My primary subjects are yoga and meditation. I developed a deep interest in this field during one of the lowest phases of my life. I was physically weak, constantly sick, and emotionally drained. My lifestyle was far from healthy, and I felt disappointed in myself. In that darkness, I discovered yoga, and it completely transformed my life.
    As I progressed in my journey, yoga not only healed me physically but also helped me overcome emotional and mental struggles. It opened the door to a deeper understanding of the human mind and spirit, which led me to explore life coaching and holistic healing. I pursued a certified course in yoga and later earned a degree in Health and nutrition to strengthen my professional knowledge. Today, I guide people using a four-dimensional holistic approach that focuses on physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
  • 2. What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach and why?

    The credit goes to my mother and my maternal aunt. As a child, I used to watch them read yoga books and follow natural remedies. They would often practice yoga, and I would try to join in-though back then, my attention span lasted only a few minutes! Years later, when I faced my own challenges, I rediscovered those old books and felt an instant connection. Their love for yoga and their admiration for figures like Ramdev Baba had left a lasting impression on me.
    Their early influence, combined with my personal healing journey, motivated me to teach and help others transform their lives just like I transformed mine.
  • 3. How does your work help society?

    Over the years, I've had the privilege of teaching people across nearly 25 countries. My work has helped individuals recover from childhood trauma, depression, anxiety, obesity, and underweight issues. I guide people to achieve a healthy lifestyle, better self-awareness, and emotional balance.
    From children struggling with flexibility to office workers dealing with sedentary routines, I offer customised yoga sessions, lifestyle advice, and nutritional guidance. I also support spiritual seekers on their path and empower people to find emotional clarity through life coaching. With my background in nutrition, I tailor diet plans and suggest natural remedies to my clients, helping them make sustainable, holistic changes in their lives.
    There is no better feeling than hearing someone say, "You changed my life."
  • 4. If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of and why?

    My role models are my parents. My mother inspired me with her nurturing nature, her love for yoga, and her willingness to help others selflessly. My father, an ex-army man, instilled in me discipline, resilience, and the value of hard work. From a young age, he introduced me to physical fitness through exercises and routines. Together, they shaped the foundation of my personal and professional values.
  • 5. Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

    Outside of teaching, I'm a creative and hands-on person. I enjoy gardening, painting, cooking, stitching, embroidery, and making crafts from waste materials. I also love writing and playing games. Additionally, I run my own Ayurvedic, chemical-free wellness brand that creates handmade soaps, candles, and beauty products. Beyond yoga and coaching, I teach English, Maths, and Science to students across the world, integrating creativity and clarity into every learning experience.
  • 6. Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

    Yes, one of the most moving experiences I've had was with a client originally from South India, living in the UK. When we first connected, he was severely overweight (107 kg), emotionally broken due to childhood trauma, and completely disconnected from his body and life. He barely left his bed, ordered all his meals online, and had no structured sleep or activity.
    Through my 21-day holistic challenge focusing on physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual healing, he began to experience change. He started doing yoga (which he never imagined he would), cooking his own food, and taking control of his emotions. Over the next four months, he completely turned his life around-he healed his trauma, adopted healthy habits, lost weight, quit smoking, and even found peace on his spiritual journey.
    He once said to me, "You came into my life like a blessing, like a God," and it's stories like his that keep me doing what I do with all my heart.
