About Yiwei

- What kind of experience do you have?

I have extensive experience teaching Economics at and Maths at A-Level/University level for 3 years.
My teaching method is that, for students I do take on, my priority is to ensure that they reach their full potential, and I fully dedicate to delivering this.
Before I begin teaching, I build a strong understanding of how each student learns and their needs, so that each tutorial I provide entirely customises to the student.

BSc Economics from University of Nottingham [1st Class] and MSc Economics from University of Warwick [distinction]. I really enjoy teaching, and I ensure that I prepare each tutorial thoroughly and tailored to students' academic needs.

- Which subject(s) do you teach?

Economics modules I'm specialised in Microeconomics, Econometrics, Mathematical Economics, Health Economics, Financial Markets, Labour Economics and much more.
I could help you with A-level and GCSE Maths.
I am a native Mandarin Chinese speaker so I could also help you with Chinese oral/written/reading/listening practice.

- Tell me about your qualifications.

I hold a Master's degree in Economics with distinction from Warwick University and a BSc Economics degree with 1st class from the University of Nottingham.
I have previously worked in an investment bank as well as the Bank of China.
I have presented my own research in the U21 Undergraduate Research Conference.

- How much do you charge?

Free 15 min consultation via phone/Skype could help you and me know each other better with regards students' study needs.
10% off for group sessions (book more than 5 sessions at once).

- Where do you teach?

I can teach at home (near Aldgate East Station and White Chapel Station).
I can also teach online using Skype and an online interactive whiteboard where students can see exactly what I'm writing in real-time.

- When are you available?

I'm available throughout the year - for both weekdays and weekends.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

GCSE and A-Levels (or equivalent), University Foundation Courses, Undergraduate Level, Postgraduate Level.

- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.

I will use Skype and online whiteboard for my sessions. All you need is a decent internet and a Skype account! :)
