I'm a good listener, patient, and ask questions guiding students to not only getting correct answers, but understanding how they arrived at the correct answer. I provide examples and practical application as much as possible. In my classroom teaching I used a lot of hands-on illustrations, demos and labs. I would encourage student participation and collaboration. I would arrange for peer tutoring and made myself available frequently for help before and after school, during lunch periods, and even outside of school time if necessary.
