About Sophia
Fluency arrives when the sound of English becomes as natural as your native tongue. We review weekly conversation recordings together to identify clear areas for growth. My lessons emphasize listening and reading comprehension while refining your use of complex phrasal verbs. Since I hold a Master of Arts in French Studies and TESOL from Université de Montréal, I understand the challenges of learning a new language.
You will practice specific skills for IELTS and TOEFL success in a supportive environment. My approach is structured to ensure that students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. We also spend time on everyday conversation to ensure you can communicate effectively in any setting. This process makes the path to proficiency much more enjoyable for every learner.

Extensive experience characterizes my career in language instruction. I earned a Master of Arts in French Studies and TESOL from Université de Montréal.
My focus remains on supporting newcomers and their families as they adapt to Canadian society. I specialize in teaching phrasal verbs, writing, and intensive test preparation for IELTS and TOEFL. Helping adult and intermediate learners achieve their goals is my primary function.
