About Lucia
I teach biology with over 5 years of experience and a BSc in Biology with Psychology. My focus is on ecology, environmental science, and biodiversity conservation. Lessons cover ecosystem dynamics, species interactions, and climate change impacts. Students passionate about the environment and sustainability thrive in my sessions. My approach to teaching biology emphasizes evolutionary biology, natural selection, speciation, and phylogenetics. Lessons focus on critical thinking and evidence-based reasoning. Students explore how species evolve, adapt, and diversify. I use examples from genetics, fossils, and living organisms to illustrate key concepts. Food Chemists and Green Chemists benefit from understanding evolution in context. Lessons include interactive exercises, case studies, and discussion. I guide students in constructing and interpreting phylogenetic trees. Together, we study adaptation, natural selection, and speciation events. I encourage curiosity, reasoning, and reflection. Students gain confidence discussing life’s diversity and evolutionary processes. Lessons connect theory to ecology, genetics, and conservation.
