I am a dedicated piano teacher with 14 years of experience teaching high school and college students. My teaching methodology for piano combines a practical, real-world approach with creativity, problem-solving, and personalized guidance. I believe learning an instrument should be an engaging and rewarding experience, which is why I focus on using real-life examples and case studies to help students connect theoretical knowledge with musical expression. By integrating diverse musical genres, we explore everything from classical to contemporary styles, allowing students to develop their unique sound and skills.
I encourage creativity by giving students opportunities to compose, improvise, and express themselves musically. Through a problem-solving approach, we work through challenges together, turning obstacles into learning opportunities. I hold my students accountable for consistent practice and progress, while also providing the motivation and support needed to reach their goals.
Beyond piano, I can help with music theory, sight-reading, and even music history, giving students a well-rounded understanding of their craft. My goal is not just to teach music, but to inspire a lifelong passion for it.
