About Liza
Teaching feels like watching a dark room suddenly light up with a vibrant neon glow. I guide adult learners, independent artists, and career switchers through the technical hurdles of making music.
My BFA in Music Technology from NYU Steinhardt provides the foundation for everything I share with you. These 3 years of teaching have taught me exactly how to explain complex concepts in clear terms. Whether you are an aspiring artist or a seasoned hobbyist, I prioritize clarity and patience.
I enjoy breaking down DAW fundamentals in Logic Pro, Ableton, and FL Studio until they feel like second nature. Building a home studio or mastering basics does not have to be a headache. You will find that I stay right by your side while we tackle gain staging or drum programming.
I keep the environment relaxed so you never feel pressured. My method ensures you gain a repeatable process that serves your creativity long term.

I use my 3 years of experience to strip away the fluff and get you straight to the heart of the sound. We prioritize the techniques that matter most for your specific songs and workflow.
Sampling and looping become much more intuitive once you have a solid grasp on signal flow. You will leave the studio feeling ready to finish that next track with total confidence.
