About Tannya
Hi, I'm Tanya an American teacher currently living in Tbilisi, Georgia. I've spent 3 years teaching English in Japan and China, and I also teach on various online platforms, so I've worked with students from all over the world. I love learning about different cultures just as much as I love teaching, and I bring that curiosity into every lesson. My lessons are practical, relaxed, and built around real-life communication we speak from day one. A typical session starts with a quick warm-up, moves into a main activity like role-plays or article discussions, and ends with clear feedback and a small takeaway for next time. Having taught in Japan and China for 3 years, both in-person and online, I understand how to help learners build confidence and break free from textbook English. My lessons are for children, teens and adults, from beginners to upper-intermediate, whether you're learning for work, travel, or general fluency.
