About Nia

I am a dedicated Violin tutor who enjoys helping students discover the beauty of music while building strong technical and performance skills. I teach learners of all ages with patience, enthusiasm, and a supportive approach that encourages confidence, creativity, and continuous improvement. My goal is to make every lesson enjoyable, engaging, and meaningful for each student.

My teaching style is friendly, structured, and adaptable to every student's unique learning needs. I explain violin techniques in a simple and practical way while helping students improve posture, bowing, finger accuracy, rhythm, and musical interpretation. Through personalised guidance and regular encouragement, I help students overcome challenges and develop confidence in their playing abilities.

About the lesson

Learning the violin is a rewarding journey that combines discipline, creativity, and musical expression. My lessons are designed for beginners, intermediate, and advanced students, focusing on correct posture, bow control, finger placement, intonation, rhythm, sight reading, and music theory. Whether you are preparing for school music exams, graded violin assessments, orchestra performances, auditions, or learning as a hobby, I provide clear guidance, practical exercises, and constructive feedback. Students progress at a comfortable pace while steadily improving their confidence, accuracy, and overall musical ability.

I believe every student can become a confident violinist with consistent practice and supportive instruction. My lessons include scales, arpeggios, ear training, expression techniques, vibrato, and performance preparation to develop complete musicianship.
