About Tara

I have over 14 years of experience teaching piano to students preparing for music exams, college auditions, and professional gigs. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Piano, which helps me bring a modern and practical approach to lessons. I believe every student is unique, so I personalize my teaching to match your goals and learning style. Whether you are working on a classical piece or contemporary music, I focus on building strong technique and musical expression. My lessons are motivating and encouraging, designed to boost your confidence and keep you inspired. I help you develop effective practice habits and prepare thoroughly for performances and auditions. Together, we work on timing, phrasing, and stage presence. I also guide you in managing performance anxiety to help you play your best under pressure. About the lesson

My teaching approach is designed to help students prepare confidently for performances, competitions, and recordings. I focus on proper posture to ensure ease and prevent injury during playing. Phrasing is important, so I work with students to bring out the emotion and flow in their music. For those preparing exams or church performances, I provide tailored guidance to meet their specific needs. I encourage regular practice and help students set clear, achievable goals. Lessons are structured but flexible to suit each student’s pace. I believe that preparation and mindset are just as important as technique. With steady progress and support, students gain confidence to shine on any stage. I am dedicated to helping learners not only play well but also perform with passion and professionalism.
