About Cosima
I’m a vocal tutor with over 10 years of experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Studies. My passion is helping singers find their voice and shape it into something truly expressive and unique. I work with both hobbyists and aspiring recording artists, guiding them through the technical and creative sides of singing. Using modern tools like digital audio workstations (DAWs), vocal processors, and professional studio mics, I help students prepare for recording, live sessions, and songwriting. Whether you're working on a home project or stepping into a studio, I teach how to perform with control and confidence. I specialize in R\&B, Soul, Acoustic Pop, and Contemporary Christian music. My lessons focus on lyric interpretation, tone shaping, harmonies, and phrasing to bring emotion and clarity to each performance. I tailor each session to fit your style and goals while encouraging growth at your own pace. Music is more than just sound—it's storytelling. Through personalized coaching and studio-focused tools, I help students bring their message to life. My teaching method for performers centers on building stage confidence, microphone technique, and audience connection. I work closely with each student to develop a strong presence that feels authentic and expressive. Breath control, clear diction, and good posture are at the heart of our training, creating a solid base for any live performance.
For ensemble performers and solo instrumentalists, I focus on helping them feel at home on stage. We use curated song choices that match their strengths and explore movement exercises that unlock natural charisma. These activities allow students to grow comfortable with their voice, body, and message.
Video feedback plays a key role in the process. It helps students see their progress and refine their delivery with clarity. I also include stage presence drills and introduce vocal stamina apps to build endurance and resilience. Every lesson is designed to help performers step into the spotlight with self-belief and control.
Whether preparing for a concert, audition, or band gig, my goal is to empower each student to shine. Confidence isn’t just taught—it’s built from within, and together we work to unlock it.
