About Eliana

My name is Eliana and I've received my OSSD diploma with a 4.0 GPA from the Abelard School in Toronto, an advanced private high school. I'm soon headed to the University of Toronto to study linguistics, sociology, and comparative literature.

I received a final grade of 99 in my senior year of AP French, and the year before I received my school's Award for Excellence in Foreign Language Studies. I've worked with many students in French for 3 years, both in person and online, and I'd love to get to know you to best help you find a genuine independent enthusiasm and skill for French!

About the lesson

I've tutored predominantly French for 3 years, working with students of a wide range of levels: from anglophone kindergartners in French language schools to high-schoolers in AP French at advanced schools.
I spend the first session figuring out a student's level with a review of a wide range of subjects, and from there we'll work together to plan a curriculum that will work best for you. If you're enrolled in a French class, I'll ask about what your class is covering and we'll make sure our sessions flow with your class lessons, especially incorporating the class' vocabulary units into grammar units!
