About Somya
I discovered my passion for teaching through homeschooling my son, where I learned that every child has a unique way of understanding the world. This journey led me to deeply study child psychology and learning methods - I wanted to understand not just what to teach, but how children actually learn best. Watching a child's face light up when a confusing concept suddenly makes sense is what drives me. I've seen firsthand how personalized, patient teaching can transform a struggling student into a confident learner, and I want to bring that same approach to more children. Teaching isn't just about delivering information - it's about understanding each child's learning style, building their confidence, and making them genuinely curious about the world around them.

Instead of focusing only on getting the right answer. I focus on making sure your child truly understands WHY it's the right answer. I use real-world examples, visual demonstrations, and hands-on activities that make abstract concepts concrete and memorable. Instead of rushing through topics, I adapt my pace to your child's needs - spending extra time on confusing areas and moving faster through what they grasp easily. My goal isn't just better grades; it's building a child who feels confident asking questions, solving problems independently, and actually enjoys learning Math and Science.
