About Olivia
Many beginners panic when they encounter a native speaker for the first time. It happens to everyone.
I use my MA in Applied Linguistics to design lessons that tackle this anxiety by simplifying complex grammar into immediate, usable chunks. My 14 years of experience have shown me that consistent, small efforts lead to the most reliable gains.

Vocabulary building and listening practice form the core of my teaching toolkit. Language is messy. I hold an MA in Applied Linguistics and have spent 14 years refining my approach to helping absolute beginners and advanced travelers alike.
My path to becoming a NAATI certified translator was paved by those early days teaching in Melbourne. I find that kids and adults often learn best when we move away from standard textbooks to explore the living pulse of the language.
